Reliance announces Jio Phone for Rs 0


Reliance has once again surprised the nation and the mobile users of India, as it announced the new smartphone Jio Phone on Friday during the Company’s AGM in Mumbai. What is more surprising is that the phone costs nothing, absolutely nothing. The Jio Phone was launched by the Directors Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani, followed by the Chairman Mukesh Ambani addressing the AGM.

Taking the Digital India dream to a next level and more close over 50000 crore feature phone users in India, the Jio Phone will be made available at Rs 0. With free voice calls, messages, unlimited data usage and many more usee friendly features, the Jio Phone will be delivered after paying a refundable security Deposit of Rs 1500. The user can get back the refund after three years after surrendering the used Jio Phone.
The Jio Phone also enables users to access e commerce, e banking and e governance even in remotest of villages on par with that of the speed enjoyed by users in cities.
